30for30: Purple days

Tights: Smartwool
Necklace: DIY

Today was purple day at my preschool. I wore the only purple item in my 30. I also had different tights on earlier, but they ripped. Not cool.

One-third of the challenge is over...yippee! Only 20 days left. I can't believe there is still 20 days left. I have to admit this is much harder than I imagined.
What I have learned so far:
  • I picked out way too much blue, next time I will have a lot of different colors
  • It is called a challenge for a reason
  • I am not as clever as I thought I was with remixing
  • I need more necklaces
  • The not shopping part it probably the easiest part
I'm looking forward to future challenges in different seasons. I am so ready for summer. We don't have a spring here. It gets warmer but there is still snow on the ground into late June.

So, what do you guys think of my new shorter bangs?

    I got these ones in Montrose on clearance for $12 about 3 weeks ago! They have them online, but they are still $50. Totally worth $50 though. I bought the cognac ones online. Here is the link:
