Spring has come to Crested Butte. It's in the upper 30's today and I couldn't be happier. This skirt has opened a whole new world for me. I fell in love with it and the spring peachy color but it was 3 sizes too big. For only $4, how could I pass it up? So I bought it knowing I would have to take it in. I sew, but I haven't tailored clothes before. I have made a lot from scratch, no clothes, mostly baby stuff, laptop sleeves and accessories. Well, needless to say I managed to take the skirt in a couple of inches and now it fits like a dream. I love it. Now, I don't have to just look at my size when thrifting or shopping the sale sections. Oh the deals that will be made.
I am very excited. This weekend my mom, me and Dexter are taking a little trip to Denver to get stuff for Dexter's 1st birthday. Already mapped out all my shopping: Michaels, Joanns, Goodwill, Target, and Forever 21. This trip is on a super budget, but I know it will be a successful one.
Where do you shop for great deals?

Playing around with the blog. Hard work working with html code. Use to write code years ago, but you do forget. What do you think, like the new way better or should I go back to the old?
