Yesterday, we had our first picnic of the year. The weather was perfect, Dexter was awesome, and I just loved laying in the grass staring at the bright blue sky. This is why I put up with 7 months of winter, the summer here couldn't be prettier.
I have had this skirt for years and in the past have had a hard time finding outfits for it. I scored the vest on Saturday at the Stepping Stones yard sale (along with some other amazing finds which I'll be sharing with you all week). This vest was meant for this skirt. I love the combo together. I haven't rocked a jean vest since freshman year of high school, '96. How could I pass this beauty up at a yard sale for pennies on the dollar? A great addition to my closet.
